Professor Alon Tal: In 1990 Professor Tal founded Adam Teva V’din, the Israel Union for Environmental Defense, spearheading hundreds of campaigns, legal actions and legislative initiatives. Professor Tal is on the international board of the Jewish National Fund (JNF), was chair of the JNF’s subcommittee for sustainability, and since 2006, he has served as chair of the Land Development Committee. Professor Ta efforts focus on efforts expanding funding for sustainable afforestation, bike trails and research and increasing JNF-KKL involvement with projects in the Arab sector. In 2007, Professor Tal and Mohammad Said Al-Hmaida, former director of the Palestinian Ministry of Environment, were commissioned by Friends of the Earth Middle East to write a “shadow treaty” for a final settlement between Israel and the Palestinians, which offered an ambitious vision of cooperation and coordinated management. He also helped bring together 15 Israeli and 15 Palestinian water experts to consider specific areas of agreement and disagreements in regional water management, which was published in the 2010 book Water Wisdom. Professor Tal is a faculty member at Ben Gurion University and has held appointments at Harvard University, Tel Aviv University, and the University of Otago in New Zealand.

Carl Perkal: Director of resource development at Sikkuy, an equal rights advocacy NGO. Carl has served as a consultant to many non-profit organizations in Israel for fundraising and media. Carl holds a B.Sc. in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University and has been involved with television and documentary film production for thirty years.

Adv. Nimrod Vromen: Nimrod Vromen is an advocate at Yigal Arnon & Co.’s high-tech department, where he has been employed since 2008, representing startup companies of all sizes and throughout the entire company life-cycle – from incorporation to exit. During the years 2007-2009 Nimrod founded and ran business development for Youtell.Me! and in 2007 was an instructor for the Young Leadership Forum of HAMIL. During the years 2006-2008 Nimrod taught law at high schools around Israel and provided business consulting for NGOs through the Nova Project, while today he operates Yigal Arnon & Co.’s volunteering at Kommemiut School in Pardes Katz, as part of the Shiuer Acher program. Nimrod has an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University, as of 2013.
