Shomera featured in Pacific Institute Report
The Pacific Institute, a US nonpartisan research institute that works to advance environmental protection, economic development and social equity, has issued The 2010 report Overview of Greywater Reuse: the Potential of Greywater Systems to Aid Sustainable Water Management . The report analyzes how, as a key strategy that reduces demand, greywater reuse can improve the resilience of water systems to the impacts of climate change.
A case study of Shomera's Greywater Recycling Initative is featured on page 20 of the report.

Shomera for A Better environment wins the International Exhibition of Cleantech 2010 award for environmental project of excellence.

The award was granted for the "Greywater Recycling Initiative", an innovative, cross-sector collaboration of academia, government, business and third sector, aimed at making greywater recycling a reality in Israel’s urban areas.

In addition, awards of excellence were granted for technological innovation, an educational environmental initative, an academic environmental program and a 'green' city.

The ceremony took place Tuesday evening, June 29 at The Israel Trade Fairs Center , Tel Aviv.
