Judaism and Environment

  • Created curricula for schools

  • Trained teachers from ultra-orthodox schools
  • Encouraged Jewish scholars to research, develop and teach Jewish environmental source  material and provides a public forum where these materials can be accessed by students, scholars and the general public.

  • Initiated an annual essay contest on the topic of Judaism and the environment. 

  • Developed the first ultra-orthodox environmental ‘kolel’, run by Rabbi Smadga
